Home to 175 children aged between three and nine.
The children sleep in small metal frame beds on old bare foam mattresses. The home is very overcrowded and the bedrooms are small and cramped. Many children have to share beds. The laundry room is dilapidated with obsolete equipment.
The Community Service Workshop in Stoke Newington will be building 72 bunk beds that will save space in the bedrooms. We will also renovate the laundry room and provide washers and dryers.
We will clear some ground for a play area and fence it. |
